| The love is great I must admit. We have discussed this with both kids. They just have other interest. I think they have seen and experienced the hard manual labor, long intensive hours and it's just not attractive to them. Vacations are few and short. They will be set up monetarily. Just want to give the little one(s) a chance should they desire.
One poster mentioned renting. That is a good idea. Maybe rent for a long term say 20 years.
We are still young and all this may be for not but if we die young and the grandchild isn't old enough to voice an educated opinion then we wanted just a little time for him (or them) to mature and decide for themselves. That way if there is no interest then property could be sold and proceeds divided amoung children and grandchildren while they are all still young enough to do whatever with the cash. | |
