Iowa needs to reciprocate with Texas. 

Texas recognizes Iowa's concealed carry permit but Iowa doesn't reciprocate.  I emailed my state representative and requested that he change that.

It's convenient to be able to carry as you go across America without worry that you're going to end up in jail because one state has a different law.

I checked with the AG's office in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas this morning and I was impressed with the knowledge and courtesy of each of those offices.   Each one said they honor Iowa's concealed carry permits.

If you have a CC I think it's worth contacting your representative and politely request that they move on getting Iowa to recognize other states CC's, especially when those states recognize Iowa's.
