Most would recommend R3 over R4, I think R2 or R3 is the sweet spot. I haven't personally applied any at R4, we aim for R3. Beck's PFR book has done alot of testing on this, and in your area for probably the past five years. If you Google Becks PFR you can find a link to a pdf of the book.
