Subject: Cattle on Cover Crops

Iowa
I have been planting cover crops for about 4 years and I would like to add cattle to the mix for when I don't have a crop growing. I didn't know if there was a way to purchase cattle in the October/November time frame then feed them out until late March/April time frame? I have been around cattle but don't know a lot about them. Would I have to supplement them with other feed? I am planting a cover crop mix of oat, cereal rye, vetch, crimson clover, winter pea mix. I would rather custom feed some cattle for someone. We there be a return on investment on this? I would have to put up new fencing to do this but am willing to make an investment for future gains. TIA
