North Dakota, USA | Your insurance will cover to fix up a rental. the parts they do not automatically cover is:
1. Loss of use If the rental company can't rent the car out since it is in the body shop for 10 days, they will expect you to cover that.
2. Diminution of value. If the rental car is repaired and ends up with a salvage title, it will not be worth what a comparable car that has not been damaged is worth when they try to sell it. They will want you to pay that also.
Some companies have endorsements to add it and some don't.
