East Central SD | Boy - some of you guys have it good... our local bank and their branch locations are paying .15 and .20% on Premium Money Market accounts, even for 6-figure amounts. Local Credit Union and competing banks aren't much different - I suppose because they don't have to be to be competitive locally. If you want to tie up short-term money in a 12 month CD you may get .80% for large amounts. The financial institutions "here" just don't want money. | |
