Only problem with dividend stocks right now is if interest rates go up and you need the money back. Share price goes down as rates increase. I hate saying it...but some fixed annuities are paying 2.5% if you can wait 3-7 years to get all your money back. Otherwise with an unknown timeframe a money market is your best bet.
