I had an Insight in a 9500. I did not like Ag Leader's proposed mounting location as it blocked the view to the right. I fashioned a bracket on the corner post with a ram mount. I ran some screws through the plastic around the corner post. It was strong enough to hold the Insight with a Ram mount but did block some of the Deere gauges for something that I didn't use anyway. It was not as sturdy as I would have liked but it didn't block my view and never fell down.

I have since traded the combine for a 9770 which had Deere's bracket in it. I was able to remove part of their bracket and mounted a Ram ball on it. This allowed me to mount the Insight up high out of the way. It blocks the last pushbutton on the radio slightly. I have now traded for an InCommand 1200 and its fits in that location nicely as well.

I agree 100% with what you said about the location that I used in the 9500, it definitely does block your view somewhat. The 1200 is a nice monitor, I used it for the first time last fall in my 9560.
