North Central Illinois | Yeah pretty much Buck. The next three weeks of weather are going to dictate how much less the crop is than USDA says. There was some pretty good rains in a few places this weeks and next week offers several chances of rain. The bean crop is really at a tipping point. Some timely rains in the next ten days could really make this a whopper of a bean crop but it will tip the other way if no rain. There are beans out there that aren't going to be very good regardless of what happens from here on out. There are also beans out there that with rain could make 70 to 80 bushels and without could make 50. The corn crop would still benefit from rain but to a much lesser extent. | |
