W. Kansas | I'm a pizza junkie. Being stuck in western Kansas the options are pretty limited. Pizza Hut and Gambino's are the chain pizza joints. Most of the decent size towns have a Casey's. We've got to the point where we just do homemade ones at home. I use the bread maker and do the dough and the kids get to choose what toppings go on theirs and my wife and I either do a taco pizza or what most would call a typical supreme pizza. I like banana peppers on mine. The one topping I absolutely hate is Italian Sausage...go figure!! I cook all mine on my Primo grill.
If anyone is travelling through western Kansas on I-70 there's a little joint in the small town of Grainfield called "The Dugout". Hands down one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Two pieces and you will be stuffed!!
