I put a used PF3000 in my 9610 a number of years ago.  I also agree that it may be just a lot easier and cheaper to just get a used PF3000 and hook up to what you have.  The nice display would be nice but you will be getting exactly the same information in monochrome in the cab but can download the data to a desktop software and it is then the same as any other display.
