Iowa | We boil it about three minutes, immediately into a clean sink full of ice water. Cool. Then cut off and freeze. It works out just fine, we like the taste of it better than canned. Brother didn't believe there was a difference until I served him frozen corn, no more canned for him lol. Only sis' frozen corn.
The neighbor cooks his after he cuts it off with some seasoned salt and butter. It never makes it to the freezer. Lol | |
