NW KS/ SC ID | I would pass on a gear drive model. If you wait you should be able to find a Hydro for similar money.
The M2 is an excellent machine, and parts are still plentiful in both OEM and aftermarket.
Shafts should never be an issue, as everything is the same size as the L series, just more narrow, so they are pretty stout due to that.
Like the L2, the M2 got better each year. the first year is definitely a fine machine, but the last year is much more refined and much nicer. The last 2 years had the tan cab interior, so they are easy to spot.
