Subject: RE: Deutsch connector equivalents

There are a few different manufacturers making the Deutsch style of connectors now. I have been using the ones made by Amphenol and haven't had much trouble with them. I haven't used any of the connectors in your link but have brought some other styles of connectors manufactured by Molex and I don't remember there being any issue with them. Should be another good alternative to buying the Deutsch connectors. One thing I will say about the Amphenol Deutsch style connectors is that they used a very similar part number systems to the Deutsch connectors. I believe that the only part of the part number that is different is the prefix for the family of connectors but I don't remember for sure. After you look up a few of the Amphenol part number it becomes very easy to convert between the two different part numbers. I generally order the Amphenol connectors from mouser.
