North Dakota | We buy all our meat from a local butcher, he has the best seasoned ribeyes I have ever tasted. Groceries, most from our local grocery store, not locally owned anymore but all the employees are local. Once a year we go to the Farmers Market in Minneapolis as our daughter lives about a mile away from it. Buy beets, greenbeans, sweet peas and corn, bring them home and freeze them. Get about six months of veggies for around $100. We do buy from local farmers market but the selection is pretty limited out here in the boonies, mostly corn and beans. We do get a few things from a big box store in Fargo, mostly frozen quick meals for my night to cook.
I don't lock the doors on my car most of the year but in a month or so i will have to start or there will be more cucumbers and squash in there than 2 people could eat in a year. | |
