| I am pretty confident this is a processer problem on the device the video is feeding through, not a problem with connection due to the following screenshot. The strange thing to me is that it works fine for some parts of the flight and works terribly for other parts of the flight.
On my last flight it was OK at the beginning, bad 10% of the way through, terrible from 25% to 75% of the way through and then great the rest of the time. Some of the worst times was when the aircraft was closest to me.
I have an iPhone 6+ which has an A8 processor. It started doing this on our iPad (A6 processor) a year ago before it started doing it on my iPhone.
So do other people with A8 processors experience this? Is an A9 processor device good enough?
Just wondering what I need to purchase to keep this thing moving.
For reference, the 6th gen iPod touch and the 4th gen iPad mini also have the A8. iPad Air 2 has the A8X. Most other stuff after that is the A9 or later. The 4th column of this page shows what processor your iOS device has.
