| My BIL has the dry version as his mother did before him. Both had it develop in their early 60s. I also have a good friend that had it develop in his 20s and he's now 64 years old. This friend works for the State of California in one of their county departments that serve people with disabilities. I learned from him , on behalf of my BIL, that it's important to learn how to adapt with new communications tools and strategies for things you use daily. My BIL has not adapted as well as he could have but he still has a great personality at 86. My advice is to find a person/organization that can help you show the adaptive technologies now available and help plot a direction to go in. | |
