SCMN | I traded two 2600's on two new 2630's this spring. $8000 to boot plus the cost to transfer activations which was a couple hundred bucks per display. I just watched a 2600 sell on an auction Saturday for $5500. It had AutoTrac and Swath Control activations so there's over $6,000. Basically that guy got the screen for free. I contemplated holding off for the new 4600 screen to become universal which it sounds like they are working on. I pulled the trigger on 2630's instead and based on what I'm reading about 4600's I'm glad I did. I move my displays around all the time(planter, sprayer, combine, ranger, pickup, etc.) so being flexible is a must. I don't miss the SD cards on my 2600's at all, USB sticks are much easier to come by. I will incorporate some video capabilities soon on the 2630's. |
