Between Omaha and Des Moines, 7 miles South of I80 | Yes, I changed our 1961 JD3010 to 38" rims, using step up rims. http://www.woldinc.com/ We went to 15.5 x 38 tire, and it does raise the JD3010 a little and the foot step is higher, too = I just built a 2nd step bracket, because I just installed K&M aftermarket steps onto our 1964 JD4020, so I had an extra factory JD step available. Also, with a slightly bigger and taller tire on a JD3010 (only 55 HP), 8th gear seems a bit sluggish, if you are loaded, going uphill; but nice to get away from that weird 13.6x36 tire size. |
