NC Iowa | my wife and i both have older kindles. her is a first edition, and charging port got issues last week.
mine is a fire, last night it wasn't responding well at the touch screen and i tapped it slightly harder than usual. screen went black and stayed there.
i am in the market for 2 replacements.
is kindle still a good choice or there better options out there. i do like how books are available on both kindles and pretty easy to purchase books. it is
ipads seem popular, but i think they are physically bigger to carry. i know nothing about different models or cost.
i don't know how well they interface with amazon cloud, as i have pictures there. also wonder about availability of books you currently have purchased.. this is all automatic now.
maybe kindle is the way to go, but thought i would ask.
