Oklahoma
Bermuda grass is an invasive type of grass that loves full sun and alot of heat. 85°-90°+. I think it is actually from parts of Africa. With the right moisture and heat it can yield insane amounts of tonnage. Since it is an invasive grass as it grows it has runners that run with the ground. Doesn't has a real deep root system. The hair implant explanation is a good one. If you take pieces of the grass (sprigs) and plant it it will grows runners and take off. Like I said it is invasive. You can actually feed Bermuda grass hay in the pasture and a yr later u can have Bermuda grass growing. We always feed it in bare spots to fill them in.
