I never do. I hate crawling under machinery, or feeding hay or greasing machinery with shorts on. Anyway shorts don't give you enough pant leg to wipe the grease off your hands.
Thats how I am also, but I do not even own a pair of shorts so its not going to happen.
When I was a kid, shorts were jeans that were shot, and Mom cut off the legs. Didnt like em then either.
