CENTRAL ILLINIOS | Been helping a friend get house ready to sell. Ran the oven cleaning cycle and after that it would not come on. Finally called repairman and he said don't run cleaning cycle it causes problems every time. It is a KitchenAid, made by Whirlpool. It was new 7 years ago at time of a kitchen re-model and to be honest has been used very little - first time to ever use the cleaning cycle. Burned up a controller (circuit board) and it is no longer available from Kitchenaid. Did some reading on line and that is a common problem and has been since they were new. I will never buy anything from them again. | |
