ontario | I farm on my own and work on a livestock farm, but I'll have you know that employers want to hire a manager but pay him casual help wages with no future but work. Take a look at other industry's hiring similar skill sets, they pay , hours are decent , offer pensions, holiday time. If you can't compete with other industries in this way,maybe you're farm is not viable in today's world. Few people are willing to put in hours if it's taking them nowhere. Do you blame a guy who has drive to be successful if he doesn't stay at a job working long hours for minimum wage? | |
