Russellville, KY | I only hit the sudex with 30 units of liquid N a couple days after planting.
This year, I had ryegrass, crimson clover, essex rape, hairy vetch, and austrian winter peas in front of the sudex. I figured I would have some residual N from all the legumes I had planted, as well as N from the urine and manure because that mix was grazed off and I had already fertilized it with DAP and MOP. We haven't had any rain since the first week of July, which was a huge difference from last year. | |
