Subject: RE: Superintendent salaries

Bachelor's takes 4 years, 2 years for Master's, 2-3 for PhD:total of 8-9 years of school. "Here" you must teach in the classroom for several years (4-5 I think) before you can get licensed as an administrator. So 12-14 years of schooling and on the job training before you can even get a lower-level admin job. For an MD: 4 years for Bachelor's, 4 for med school for a total of 8 years in school. 2 years of residency (OJT) for a general practitioner, more years of internships for a specialist. 10-13 years total.
