Lac qui Parle County Minnesota
Dunkirk was made that way on purpose. The people are all composites of actual people and experiences. The director didn't want to focus on any one person. My sons saw it first and warned me that it jumps back and forth, looking at the same event but from different angles and perspectives. It's like any event in real life, same event but different stories of how things happen. I thought the RAF pilots were doing all they can to stop the bombers, yet the soldiers were angry that the RAF wasn't doing anything.
It was a different kind of war movie but I found it to be a very good movie.
