West Central IL | We cut it off, put it in freezer bags, and to the freezer. Cook it once when your ready to eat it. Been doing it for years that way. Last year's corn still tastes as fresh as it was when we put it up. Did this years yesterday. ETA, never had any luck freezing corn on the cob. Seems like when it freezes it pulls the cob taste into the kernels. I would think a flash freezer would work though.
