DV, NV | We haven’t bought one yet, still on the fence about diving that deep into chopped hay. Bunk space is the limiting factor for us as we don’t keep cows close, only replacements. I’m just not set up to feed everything with the mixer. We use a Kirby bale feeder wagon most of the time, would hate to drag mixer wagon the places we take the Kirby.
Beef cows and backgrounding calves don’t really justify the expense and we are set up to make and handle baled hay way more effectively.
If we get back to $1500 weaned calves we will buy one just to look at!
