Subject: Shredding corn stalks

We have some dryland corn this year that we min tilled and planted. We're trying to go notill on our dryland. Was thinking about next year planting into the corn stalks. Thinking about maybe taking the bush hog or borrowing a flail mower and shredding the stalks. Is there any advantage or disadvantage in doing this. We will be planting beans next year with a sunflower drill.
