Casey IL. ( I -70 ) then south on rt.49 | last year I had it bad. Neighbors herd across the road brought it in when he brought the cows in from another pasture. He did nothing to control it. Got the vet in to help us. Took a sample to U of I it came back bacteria pink eye. Not irritation. You doctor the 2 different. One way is what most of the threads are telling you. The bacteria 1 is meds from the vet. This year we give pink eye shots to everything in march including the calves as they where born. If it is the Bacteria 1 it is hard to fight. We got by with only one cow going blind. Fattened her out and made hamburger out of her. Sale barn said don't bring her up. |
