Faunsdale, AL | It is pretty safe but it can cause quite an allergic reaction in some folks. Best to try to keep out of it.
We got a new farm office because one of my uncles became allergic to the permethrin fly tags we had spread all over writing ID numbers on them. What can I say.....seemed like a good idea at the time!
We scrubbed the whole place down after removing all the tags, but he couldn't work in there after that. My father was the one with the tag pen writing all the numbers on them and he never had a problem, but everyone won't be so lucky.
To the OP.....could you cover your pile with a sheet of plastic?
