Driftless SW Wisconsin

I do have both pallet forks and a low 2-spear bale spear for my 250 and it does have the add-on weights. I put those on after feeling how light on the rear it was with these heavy bales. I'd rather not change back and forth from spear to forks.

I have put the bottom row on end as you describe. I'll try the 2nd an 3rd row by putting the spear under rather than into a bale on end.  My spear attachment does not have a very tall rear surface. I'd rather not have one of these heavy bales coming down on top of me from 15 ft up, but I'll give it a try and see how it goes.

The forecast looks like we are going to get a few dry days this coming week. I'll try to restack the last cutting. As it was starting to rain when I put the last few in the shed, it will be good to move them around a bit to get some air on them.

Thanks for the explanation, Mike.
