Subject: RE: Auto-Steer on NH TV145 Bi-Direcitonal?

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
Interesting-

We have installed several EZ-Steer systems (Motor to steering wheel) and Autopilot systems (direct to steering hydraulics).

We have not been asked nor thought about the situation with a bi-directional tractor. We notice that they are not listed on the setup sheets that we have available.

The systems in general do not operate in Reverse. I'm not sure about the ramifications of this setup. Probably it would work in one direction but not the other. If the electronics that controls the system rotates with the operators command platform possibly it would work in the other "direction".

Even if that happens to be the case, the parameters for one direction would probably be different than the other. Since most of these systems have storable operating configurations, it might be possible to have one configuration for driving in one direction and a different one for operating in the other direction.

More to this one than I can handle!
