Subject: RE: When the dicamba controversy settles out...

There is a lot of damage around us in east central Il. We have around 200ac., In 4 places affected, and I know several of the applicators done it right. Heat, Humitiy, Wind, Inversion, Unknowns, all are causing this stuff to move. Corn around here for the most part tasseled by the 4th of July, so the dicamba did not come from the corn crop. Beans were planted over a month long period, and are at different stages. There is concern that the Ins. Companies will push the blame onto Monsanto, saying the problem is not caused directly by drift, but by inversion. This will leave the farmers with the damaged fields having to go after the neighbors, applicators, and Monsanto directly to recover damages.
