Greetings 1234
Given they fact they look at Every corn field Daily they have more complete data then average marketing participate, thus a more accurate yield model.

Furthermore when you are able to add temp, moisture data, etc to overlap visual data, you have a more complete picture thus yield estimate. As i understand AI,, (the machine code) keep running models ..adjusting models to get the BEST model to fit the data. The bigger the data set,,,and longer-years available..better the yield model.

"Past history is the best indicator of future results" High CPI soil compared to low.

I also believed this data is being used with AI forecasting.. not perfect but an edge over the average market participant.

Also given the fact they can tell corn from beans, wheat etc.. another plus is solid estimate in actual acres planted. ..harvested. Total supply

Is it an estimate if you know what is planted?

Makes you wonder why NASS- USDA spends money on door knockers.

Best
