I'm not that proficient with excel but can usually dink around and get it done. This time I'm wanting to do something a little more advanced and need some help. I have a sheet that lists soil types and their associated yields and would like to be able to estimate the productivity of different farms without having to manually input all the data. Can I create a database with this sheet so that when I create a new sheet it will refer to the master list and automatically fill the cells with the relevant yields? Example-just type the soil number and have it populate the soil name and the yields. Then all I need to do is input the estimated acres of each soil type and it will give me production or something similar to this. Thanks for any help. |
