MN
I was not included in the 11th map but I am in the 18th and I would say that the map was correct. Soil sampled last week, 4 days after an inch rain even and there was no moisture at all and cracks you could stick your fingers down in all the way to your hand. Crops were holding on pretty well only pineapple-ing in field entrance and high ground here and there, but for the most part alright. I would say 95+% of the corn is and has been tasseling for 5 days now and the last couple days with high temps and low humidity with 15+mph winds the corn crop was headed south no doubt. We received 7/10ths of and inch of rain at my place and 1"+ at Dad's yesterday over a 2.5 hour period and it was welcomed. Although I am sure there was some damage already done. That brings us up to 2.14" for the month of July at Dad's. We will see if my area is back to white on the map next week. Haven't heard how spotty the rain was....
