Agree with feed and patience, had a red angus bull few years ago, drive out in the middle of the pasture, pour a small amount of feed right on the back edge of the trailer with a trail to a bigger pile 5' in - sit inside up front on the bucket, once he stepped in slip out the side door and close the rear. Same bull - if he was in the correl or trying to load him out down the alleyway and thought he wasn't going fast enough - thus went to smacking him around or worse took the shock stick to him - you lost the bull and got stuff tore up.
