North East Wimmera district of Victoria. | Thanks Omar - and others for the suggested programs. I'll pursue the 'what do you want to do?' option, as that comes up when a blank DVD is inserted into the laptop disk drawer. I have spoken to an Electronics shop guy I know and he can supply a portable DVD player. To my current knowledge, it can be taken to a home and the person can be shown the "On" switch, and the "Play" button. "Too Easy!" as the younger generation are wont to say! I also presume the DVD could be put in a slot on a large screen TV in the care homes, and as many as want could watch. Or - if the TV does not have an integrated DVD player, connect the portable player via the appropriate connecting cord. Some time ago my wife bought a container of blank DVD's - thought they were blank CD's!, so I have at least 12 to try out. Thanks again. |
