SE Minnesota | Not sure if this is where to put this or not but I'm thinking about getting rid of my fish and ski bot and buy a pontoon, I got married last august and she has a 7 year old daughter and a 3 year old son and we took them out on the boat this past weekend and they loved it! With another child coming in the next few weeks I think a pontoon would be way better for our growing family then my current boat. This is where my question comes in, how big of a motor do I want on a pontoon to still be able to pull the kids on tubes as they get older? I have found a lot of them with 60 hp on them but I'm thinking I want at least a 90 if not a 115. Also I still want to have a decent cruising speed because the main thing it'll get used for is taking to the Mississippi River and crusing to restaurants and sand bars to hang out | |
