At little advice to get you ready to be able to run with your wife. Walking really doesn't do anything to make you a runner. Start by running a half mile then work your way up and NEVER stop while you are running (runners are strong mentally). The weight will peal off if you limit carbs and sugar and run enough to sweat after you are done.
