Have any of you dehydrated onions before? I started a batch this morning. I sliced about 3/16" and didn't separate rings. Just laid the slices on the mesh on top of the racks. I have a 10 rack LEM stainless steel model 778 and I have it full of onions. I sure hope this works. I already have enough sliced to do a second batch. Humidity here today is a about 50% or greater. I know drier weather would be better. I just hope this machine has enough drying capacity to dry the onions with the humidity where it is.
