Subject: RE: New Deere 4640 screens

with the operations center information can still be taken from screen via USB and uploaded to cloud manually, there's is program called data manager that takes information much like the "unload" feature on Apex and pushes it up to the cloud

subscription based is the future there's no getting away from it but i do think deere has somewhat missed the price point here, from what i'm hearing the 2630 is definitely still going to be the best display for most things for at least 2-3 years until 4640 is up to the same capabilities anyway.

a few nice features for the screen are it uses ADAPT system for data so can be taken and used in a multitude of programs, Deere are one of first to release on this system so everything else is now catching up to make life a lot easier with cloud based programs and data streams - meaning you AREN'T locked in to using Apex as used to be the way.
