Jesup, IA | On Sunday and Monday, travels took me from home in NE IA to Sioux City, then Omaha, then back home. Highway 20 country on the way out, then some of Highway 30 on the way back. For those of you who know Iowa, this puts you through some of the best of Central and Western IA.
Clearly, this corn crop is two weeks behind the norm. Pollination is going to be a second half of July thing in the Cyclone state. And if these forecasts are anywhere near accurate, it's going to be a different corn crop than we have gotten used to the past couple seasons in Iowa..
