NW Washington | Well, obviously you have to get a handle on her spending, like limiting what she or has access too. There are more sleazy buggers trying to cheat old ladies than you can shake a stick at.
Does she have any lady friends to visit with, like church groups or senior citizen groups? If she is healthy maybe she should look for some volunteer jobs. My wife volunteers 2 half days at her churches help the poor and homeless operation and another half day at the hospital. And she has made good friends at both places.
Another thing to consider is that often when one loses a long time mate they suffer from depression. I know my mother did when she lost her last husband. | |
