I've got a customer who bought a Spra Coupe 7660 with an Ag Leader Paradyme on it for steering. I was asked to calibrate the steering system. In the process of doing so, I discovered the steering valve was stuck.

Has anyone ever torn down and repaired a steering block, or know of a place one can send it to? Ag Leader's tech support answer is, "Let's sell you a new steering block". I can't imagine they're not repairable/rebuildable if you find the right kind of outfit with the right kind of experience.

What do you mean when you say stuck? Does it continually want to turn one direction, even without power applied?

When we had hydraulic compatibility problems with an autosteer valve and tractor, I was fortunate and got cooperation/information from Dakota Fluid Power, the maker of the valve.
