JEC, I sold quite a few of those darn things over the years, was suppose to be the ideal solution to thorns, we never found a way to keep them up. the ground off bead area eats tubes, Slime is no absolutely help in the bead area, we tried it on several. We finally sent most of them away - at our expense - and had them foam filled. If I was still in the tire business I would NEVER recommend another 1.
