Aberdeen MS | the scale house in WI on the west side of Madison if I remember correctly, maybe was the one east bound by Tomah had a nice racket going many years ago with the seed potato haulers.
Seems trucks were generally overweight on the trailer tandems and couldn't leave until they were legal. The scale masters just happened to know a an outfit that would would come out and assist. But because the trucker wasn't the owner of the spuds, they couldn't pay him for them. | |
