NW MN | I'll take a shot but not certain I understand your concern.
There's no purchasing needed rtk extend is not a trial or grace period it just means it will operate with rtk accuracy without a current signal for 14 days before it loses that accuracy and needs to reaquire signal to renew/refresh its accuracy.
Additional: I guess if you were subscribing to a dealer or others network and your subscription ran out It's possible without signal being renewed you'd lose correction.
